such as skin care products and make up that won’t irritate my skin (face)
I went to the doctors today as i`d had spots that just weren`t clearing up no matter what i tried, she said i have acne,i`m a 25 year old woman and have never had much bother with spots, even in my teens, anyway she prescribed a cream and told me to use it for 4 months, surely they`ll clear up before then? She said it could be due to stress and for the last six months or so i`ve been anything but relaxed and have had alot to deal with, she also offered me tablets to take but i chose the cream, did i make the right choice?
I’m 29 years old. The symptoms are mild facial redness, some bumps/mild acne, and my face is also very dry. Please Help!!!!
My mother has Rosacea and I am trying to find a treatment (other than laser peeling) to treat the redness and swelling, or better yet, prevent the outbreaks. Thank You.
Does anyone know how to get rid of rosacea naturally? Without popping medication pills?
Recently I’ve begun having episodes of facial flushing and stinging on my cheeks and chin. The flushing goes away eventually (after a day or so) but I’m pretty sure it’s rosacea, given my family history of the disease.
I really don’t want to take antibiotics long term and I’m not thrilled at long term use of any drugs so I’m looking for alternatives to manage this problem.
I tried it for dark upper lip hair on my white skin which is supposed to have a high percentage of working in that scenario, but it didn’t work at all. I’ve had a skin specialists nurse recommend I try IPL, but it costs 0 a time & I’d need to go at least 3 times & because it didn’t work for hair removal I’m wondering if it won’t work for the rosacea either. Also it was painful emough having it done on my upper lip, let alone my whole face! Upper lip only took 5 minutes, but the whole face apparently takes an hour! I imagine that is fairly excruciating.
Well with the hair removal thing I did it 10 times! And it did nothing.
0 is the going rate for the whole face in my country.
I had some broken capillaries on the bridge of my nose cauterised (very painful too) but they just reappeared 2 months later anyway! I’m thinking the same thing will happen with the laser thing.
Does anyone know of any good creams or cover up that really work? I have mild rosacea so I don’t want to do anything drastic. Thanks.
I have been suffering with acne rosacea for nearly a year and to date nothing that I try seems to work. I have been to the doctor several times. I am allergic to most of what they perscribe and what I am not allergic to just doesn’t help.
The past three months I have been using a skin care system called "Zen Med". It helps a little, but not enough. There are so many treatment options on-line, it can really confuse you as to choosing what is right for you.
Does anyone have any suggestions? And please no "See a dermatologist" suggestions. I have with no results. I haven’t looked "normal" in nearly a year now.
I would like to know if there is anyone else that has Rosacea with those same symptoms.
My mom has rosacea, and really embarrasses her. Is there anything that will help her get rid of it? And do you know if there is any thing that will disguise it?
what is hydrochloric acid needed for and what can take to add more? I want my rosacea to be well-maintaned! =) I have moderate to high rosacea, I suffer from bumps, redness and extreme dryness. Anything else I can take such as herbs or foods please add them! Thanks muchly! =)
I’m getting married in a few weeks and need a professional to do my make-up. I have acne rosacea- the redness should be OK to cover up, but what if I have spots or pustules on the day? Can anyone recommend a make-up artist who can deal with this, in Warwickshire area?
My Mom suffers from a mild rosacea on one side of her face. She is taking antibiotics for it but you can’t be on antibiotics forever, and I have heard that many over-the-counter facial products don’t work as they are for the normal kind of acne, not rosacea. Anyone know home remedies or ones you pay for that work?
I have rosacea and sensitive skin. I am looking for a good skin care regime to help with wrinkle reduction and anti-aging, any ideas?
I seldom have breaking out with my rosacea, but I have a lot of small broken blood vessels on my cheeks. Does anyone know a safe remedy? Is it safe to have a facial…even a deep cleansing facial? Are there products I should avoid using on my face?
I am thinking of purchasing this product.
my dermatologist said that if I get laser treatment done that my capillaries will not dilate as much that they will appear smaller. This happens the third time you get it done and it is 0 per treatment. My question is: after I get my treatments done how ever long it takes for my rosacea not to react or whatever will this cure my rosacea or will it just help clear it for two weeks to a month? Whoever went through this or knows anything on this I need your help please.
I am African American and have rosacea. From what little information I have found, it happens, but it is uncommon in people of color. Are there any other people of color that are dealing with this condition?
This is NOT a joke, apply a thin layer of plain, UNflavored yogurt to your face, let it dry. You can apply moisturizer or makeup over this, it does not show.
I think the reason this works – is because rosacea is caused by yeast, and the acidophilus in the yogurt creates a re-balance in the natural skin flora.
The yogurt causes the intense itching of rosacea to vanish, what a relief!
