I get anxiety attacks often, which usually cause hot flashes/flushes.
But I read that excessive flushing may lead to rosacea.
When I flush and get hot flashes, I’ll take my temperature to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary. It’s always under 99, so I am nowhere near fever.
As it happens, I now constantly have red on my cheeks. I also have very tiny red papules that are beneath the skin, but barely noticeable unless closely examined.
So might this situation lead to rosacea?

Anyone know if well water causes rosasea? adult acne? ever since I have moved into my house, I have had a red butterfly rash on my face, tried numerous products, but I am starting to think it is the harsh well water I wash my face with in the shower? has anyone heard of this?

OK I have this believe that all signs of rosacea (if it has not progressed too far) can be elimated by treating in 3 different ways. One is obviously outer: the inflammed skin needs to be calmed. Another is the mental: stress needs to be reduced and you need to be comfortable with yourself and other such things. Third is internal: something is wrong somewhere in there (the digestive tract) and therefore eating certain foods (different for different people) will cause problems.
I am working on the first two things but I want to know how to "cleanse" myself so to speak. And please dont give me a list of foods to avoid because its not going to help me or tell me anything I dont know.

I think i may have this. My cheeks get red. But if i get nervous or get upset or embarressed it get worse. My cheeks will actually get hot to the touch to the point im putting ice cubes on them. Of course it dont work. It goes away after a hour or two. Depending how much i focus on it. But i alway have red cheeks. Sometimes 1 cheek will stay pink while the other turns red. Just wondering some facts on this. People think im blushing and such or wearing make up and im not.

Patient has a rosacea-like rash on her face – not butterfly-like rash as seen in lupus — but doctor insisted on testing for lupus. The IgG test came back at 14; everything else was normal, including IgM, ANA screen and Lupus ACL. . Doctor informed patient she should see a rheumatologist because there was a good chance she has a disease that causes miscarriage, deep vein thrombosis and sudden stroke. Patient is age 23 and has no symptoms, is in excellent health.
