im 15 and i have sorta mild maybe a lil bit moderate rosacea. i know i have it cuz i fit 6/8 of the most common symptoms. and im not just exaggerating my face stings when i put ANY topical products, i get flare ups from spicy food, extreme cold/hot weather made me look like all the blood is rushing to my cheeks and nose for hours at a time, and its always red. and when i say always i mean ALWAYS. i will get consult from a proffesional though. but i was wondering for mild rosacea how much (on avg) does a treatment cost?
plz plz plz any help and sites would be great. thank you. gonna hopefully get the treatment by early summer

Since there are so many questions about acne here, I wanted to share a great site that has almost 80,000 members. It’s free to join if you want to ask a question, but you can also read all of the posts without joining.
Here it is:
acne.org/messageboard
Here are the categories that you can use to ask a question or read other people’s help:
Mild to moderate acne – whiteheads, papules and pustules
Severe acne – cysts and nodules
Blackheads & non-inflamed acne
Body acne
Adult acne
Rosacea & facial redness
Over-the-counter acne medications
Prescription acne medications
Nutrition & holistic health
General acne products and oily skin issues
Light/laser acne treatments
Acne research
Emotional and psychological effects of acne
Cosmetics & style
Scar treatments
Red marks left after acne
No question here. Just being helpful!
A question mark is automatically added to whatever you type in the question box, so that’s why it’s there, LOL.
I’ve been dealing with skin issues since hit puberty, and I’m now 36. I WISH it had gone away after 6 years. But this site gave me great info on lessening it greatly!

I recently went to the doctor to fix my skin. I have, well had, rosacea. My skin is very sensitive and was getting pinkinsh red and spider veins were visible on my face from the littlest pressure applied to it. I would get small spider veins on the side of my nose when I had colds. I had laser treatment on it and it is as if I never had anything wrong with my face. i want to get a nose ring but am afraid of getting spider veins on the side of my nose.I really want a nose piercing but I really don’t want any part of my skin to look like it did before. Can i get one without harming my skin?

Is there any all naturals herbal remedies to help with this? The reason I am asking this is because some spa’s/salons have what is called a Rosacea facial. I have had this done and my Rosacea clears up right after the treatment. No redness whatsoever! =) Thanks.

When I wake up in the morning, my skin is all one tone–pale and almost perfect, with the sole exception of some strange acne that apparently is not acne (dermatologists don’t know what it is), but it isn’t TERRIBLY SEVERE. But that’s not my point. Later on, my face gets red, and I mean red. Do I need to have laser surgery to get rid of this? Some people think that this is rosacea, but I don’t think so. Hm. I need a good dermatologist. :/ I’ve tried nearly every one in this city, my face is my biggest dillemma at the moment. I dislike the redness
I thought cover-up worked until people told me that it didn’t match my red face, haha. I ‘unno, only certain areas of my face are red. Not around my eyes, around my mouth, or (this one’s hard to explain) around my face as an entirety.

I have a severe flushing problem and severe redness, i’m looking into IPL laser surgery for it, but it’s a bit costly, though it has high success rates. Is it worth getting? I’ve been back and forth to the doctors for years without any success in any medications/creams.
It’s not Rosacea, I already know what it is. Simply asking if IPL would be the best way to go. Thanks.
