Hi,
I’m a teenager with mild acne and rosacea. How can I properly care for my skin to keep it healthy and treat the acne/rosacea? What does your skin care regimen consist of? I have extremely delicate skin and cannot tolerate harsh products.

I have rosacea and oily-ness around the nose, and extremely huge pores that at the end of the day, after wearing make-up and such, seem to get clogged i guess and i get a bunch of tiny tiny zits on my cheeks.
so what i do to wash my face is i wash with soap then use a neutrogena foaming scrubbing pad and scrub scrub scrub SCRUB a lot to get rid of those tiny pimples, clean the pores, and scratch off dead skin, then i dry off and use Olay refreshing toner.
I’m just wondering if what I am doing is best for my skin, especially if i should be scrubbing that much, because tonight my face started bleeding a tiny bit. then after words it feels tight, dry, and rough but feels smooth.
i’m also worried that maybe if i keep washing my face the way i do now, in 15 years or so it’ll become tough like leather or something. is that a rational fear?
is there anything i could be doing differently for my skin? what products are good for cleansing pores really super well and wont make me bleed?

Skin is red with open pores and very dry, used antibiotic creams- no use and now have no ideas. Also used aqueous to help with dryness and has helped to some small extent. Any natural products that will help?

Rosacea developed in my late 30’s and was not treated for a few years. (no money, no insurance). If I do not take my oral antibiotic daily and use the cream, my face breaks out really bad. It never completely clears, I always have red bumps of some degree or another. I do watch my diet, temp. changes, sun exposer, ect. I have friends with Rosacea and their faces look so much better and they don’t use their meds regularly! Does my face not clear because I left it untreated at first?

Lately, mine began to start breaking out on the face, never itches, just comes and goes in spots. I have used a a low dose of prednisone to help along with over the counter cream called Prosacea which surpsingly seems to be doing fairly well since I began it 4 days ago.

My face gets ance, but not much.
The big problem is blemishes!
My face is as red as a cherry tomato.
And covering it up makes acne worse.
Are there certain types of face washes/ creams you can use or what do you do?

So I have always had red cheeks. And hated it. I wasn’t sure exactly why. I never really had acne. I do get bumps and pimples on occasion and the rare zits.
But I just had my second child and my Rosacea got bad enough for me to realize thats what is has been. My skin gets so red and itchy you can tell its inflamed and irritated, its also very dry.
Im done with it, is there anything I can do to calm me severely dry irritated face? I cant really were make up because its so dry, and my moisturizer is not helping anymore. It may be worse since I JUST gave birth. But Really I need a little self esteem back.
Is there anything I can do? I heard the Aveeno Calming lotion works, but do I need anything else too?

More importantly, I am not able to fix it – whether it is rosacea or something else. Is fair n lovely right for it?

So ive been using XOLEGEL for a month now and its helping somewhat. But I was wondering what if I started to use All natural Skin care products such as Burt’s Bees? If anyone has any tips on if I should try this or not it would be helpfull!

I have suffered with rosacea for several years and have been to no less than four dermotologists. Prescribed creams and lotions do not seem to do much, if any, good.

I have had rosacea now for about two years. My doctor prescribed some metrogel cream for me, but it didn’t do any good. I know about certain procautions I can take such as staying out of the sun as much as possible. I was just wondering if there are any legit store products that might help treat it, or something I can get treated for at a Dr. or dermotologist????? Please help!

so my dermatologist told me i have rosacea and prescribed metrolotion for my dry sometimes break-out prone skin (and it’s absolutely fantastic. i recommend looking into it)
i love a daily face care ritual and miss st ives apricot scrub (too tough on my skin now). can anyone recommend good cleaners and moisturizers for dry rosacea skin? it would obviously need to be made for very sensitive skin.
thanks in advance!
