Does anyone else use cetaphil lotion and cleanser for their rosacea?
and does it work? I just started. I did a survey on rosacea and was told that cetaphil helps to relieve rosacea and was given a coupon towards cetaphil. It’s made by the same compnay that make metrogel. I sure hope it works.
Anyone else trying it?
the company that made this said to use it. and they made metrogel too
also i got rosacea after i got pregant 16 years ago. and it hasn’t gotten any worse. i just needed something to calm it some. i do not have it like other people do.
i asked who used it not what to use

I did use it but stopped and it didn’t seem to make much difference.
One thing that seems to help in the summer is a moisturizer with titanium dioxide in it.
Oddly – when I started using flonase in my sinuses every day for a few months , my rosacea has really calmed down, as well. And I didn’t think I had sinus problems especially (although my sense of smell is much improved, now).
You need cortico-steroids to properly treat rosacea.
It is an auto-immune issue, which will always be present in your cells, but will only come out at certain times.
This being said…over the counter stuff is not going to cut it. You need to see the doctor, and get something prescribed, or suffer even longer
EDIT – Not sure who gave me a thumbs down, but even as the other person who answered this just clarified…flonase is also a cortico-steriod.
