I look sick and anorexic and my rosacea is only a little better…when IO eat a trigger I get red and my face burns…as a result my sel esteem has gone down I dont even work or leave the house, I am suicidal. One of the most important things a patient can do if has rosacea is to minimize your exposure to anything that causes a flare-up.
Suggestions for preventing flare-ups:
Exercise in a cool environment. Don’t overheat
Use products that are labeled non-comedogenic. These won’t clog your oil and sweat gland openings as much
When using moisturizer with a topical medication, apply the moisturizer after the medication has dried
Patients should wear sunscreen with a sun protection factor of 15 or higher to protect face from the sun
Avoid irritating your facial skin by rubbing or touching it too much
Avoid facial products that contain alcohol or other skin irritants
Avoid overheating
Avoid alcohol
Avoid hot drinks, spicy foods and caffeine.
the previous post was very informative but after reading your post a third time maybe your trigger isn’t all the different kinds of food but a ingredient in the food possibly on the dairy side being that pasta and chocolate all usually have a direct or indirect connection to dairy or dairy by product maybe fish may help there are treatments for rosacea to help the affects of it but i dont know if theres a cure but if your looking for a way to gain weight soda helps with that but very un healthy
