My skin is very dry. I need a cleanser and moisturizer that doesn’t irritate my skin. Is there anything out there that will make my face appear less red?

Hi, Im 32 and the redness on my nose cheeks and forehead is getting worse, but im not sure if its rosacea because is not a very strong red, is microdermabrasion a good option for my problem? thank you

I am 32 years old and have had redness on my skin since I was 18…not red lines, no postules, just redness and a occasional rash that comes and goes. Last month, I got a mild sunburn, and then i noticed that my skin got very very dry…I cant even talk or smile i feel like I have an egg mask on my face 24/7. I went to an allergy doctor and he said i have rosacea and eczema…(how lucky am i ) so for the past 4 weeks i have tried numerous products for rosacea and all have made me WORSE…I can not leave the house, for fear of the sun, i eat nothing for fear of a trigger(I have lost 6 pounds and look anorexic) I avoid showers bceause my fgace gets soooo DRY and red I feel like I have been in a fire…I am wasting away…my husband says i am acting like a crazy person…the flareups get so bad…..they hurt and burn that I feel like I can not go one like this…I have not left my house in weeks…is it possible for all of these symptoms to occur in a month????

How do you get over the embarrassment of it? If I have a flare up, I don’t even want to leave the house, and some weekends, I don’t. I pretend I’m sick and miss church. I think my husband knows, but it’s that bad. I can’t even hide it with makeup..I just look like someone who can’t take care of their skin. No one I know really knows what it is, so I can only imagine what they think when they see a big cluster of bumps on my cheeks/chin. It’s awful. I’m so sick of the itching, peeling, burning, soreness and spending insane amounts of money on makeup!

Okay, I’m sorry for the rant.. I probably sound crazy, but it’s just overwhelming. So far, I’ve put up with it, but it seems to be getting worse and every site/forum I read I find out about fifteen MORE products.. they’re never-ending.. I’m scared I’m going to take/use something and it’s going to get even worse. On top of it all, my husband just doesn’t understand. He’s just always said that it’s not a big deal and not to worry about it,
but how can I not? All I want is to be able to leave the house and not have to cake my face with makeup!

I have found that using pure mineral make up helps with the reddess and inflamation of the rosacea, however, I am looking for a good face moisturizer to use everyday – not greasy and especially for very sensitive dry skin.

what is rosacea and how do you get it??? ANd how do you get rid of it??? Cause i think i have it but idk. But if i do think i have it, should i see a doctor about the redness on my face??? Not a dermatologist cause they can be really expensive.

I had acne vulgara as a kid (zits, blackheads, etc.). I think I might have acne rosacea now . Thing is, I am male and 21 – it’s rare for a male to have rosacea and most cases are 30-50. Sometimes, if I am in hot or cold weather, take a hot or cold shower, scrub too hard, or exercise too much, my face turns red and it feels like a sunburn – usually lasts for 2-3 days. The red areas are typically on around my cheekbones and my forehead. I haven’t really noticed any of the postules or w/e they are called. I come from an irish and norwegian lineage, so I guess that could have something to do with it as well. Does this sound like rosacea, or do I just have sensitive skin? I tend to be a night person (work and school cause this) and I don’t get a lot of sunlight. My parents tend to think it’s because "my skin is too tender" or something like that >_>.
