Hi, I’m a guy so I don’t know a lot about this but I have rosacea which causes me to have red flushes on my cheeks and ears. I have heard that you can use camo makeup to cover this up. I don’t want to look like I’m wearing makeup but I want something strong enough that the flushing won’t show through. What kind of thing would be good? Thanks

also any kind of concealer with green in it eliminates redness.
hi there is a product called dermablend that is specifically for skin issues like rosacea and broken capillaries and burns a vitaligio. it works well and even is water proof i have sold it to many a dudes.
You can buy concealer and it’s got 2 ends, one green and one skin colour. The green stops the redness and the other one is put on the top to hide the green and blend in. You will have to learn how to use it properly though so you can’t tell.
I know someone who has a really bad case of this, and she uses bare essentials makeup.. basically you can’t even tell she’s wearing makeup. you might feel kind of funny going into a store asking for makeup, but don’t let that stop you.
OR I might more strongly suggest that you get the procedure, i believe its a laser treatment that would be very helpful in minimizing the condition.
here’s a site—>http://www.drnase.com/article_2.htm or you may want to search around a bit more on google. but if you scroll down there should be some pretty good info.
It might be a tiny bit expensive but its honstly not that bad. and it sure beats buying expensive makeup, which will also add up over time. good luck!! =]
you can get green coverup to cancel out the red, if you have a lot in a big area, I recommend a mint green mineral coverup. The problem with is you usually have to put your foundation over to make sure you didn’t turn your face green, but I’m sure you can adjust it to make it light.
But I’m pretty sure rosacea spreads, so you should probably see a dermatologist about it.
You are going to be able to see the makeup no matter what you do. Go to a dermatologist an ask for a prescription for metrogel and if that doesn’t work consider getting laser treatments at the derm’s office. My mom is going through this right now, and her skin is a million times better. I have an appointment to start next week!
concealer
foundation or pressed powder will help cover it up. go to a store that sell make up and pic out a liquid foundation in you skin tone. don’t be embarrassed I have the same thing and I just cover it up with foundation. also good try covergirl trublend or if you can go to MAC and they will help you pic out what will cover it up and something in your shade.
I don’t have rosacea, but I do have red blotchy skin. I use a mineral powder foundation and concealer to cover it. It looks very natural. I wear kms mineral essentials. It is one of the few mineral products on the market that is 100% pure minerals. It will not aggrivate your rosacea, it will soothe it.
