I’m getting married in a few weeks and need a professional to do my make-up. I have acne rosacea- the redness should be OK to cover up, but what if I have spots or pustules on the day? Can anyone recommend a make-up artist who can deal with this, in Warwickshire area?

Are you on any medication? Metrogel should help if you start it now. My whole family suffers from rosacea so I know your discomfort. My mom had a Intense Pulsed Light treatment (without any Levulan or drugs – just the light) and it really worked … I htink she needs a series of 6 treatments but her skin is looking so much better already. You can read about it here: http://www.skincareguide.ca/articles/rosacea/rosacea_art_1.html I am hoping to get it done soon seeing the great reaction my mom has had. Most pro makeup artists will be fine with rosacea, it is pretty common, something they will see a few times a month. Just ask that everything is for sensitive skin and you should be ok. And you can always have your pictures retouched to remove any imperfections or unevenness. Have a wonderful wedding and congratulations!
Take the Gatineau anti-redness cover up tube with you!
Congratulations!!!!=]
