what is wrong with my skin and eyes?
my skin particularly on my face is uneaven in color. not drastically but its still noticeable. i dont think i have rosacea but cannot be 100 percent sure. also the skin around my eyes seems almost excema like ive tried variose ointments etc but they seem to just aggrivate it. also i have dark under my eyes any ideas? i have had general allergy tests but i dont trust the nurse that did them aswell i have no pets around avoid all skin care products and am currently trying to avoid wheat and gluten to see if that may be the cause. Something else to note is that i tend to get hot like flushes or bouts of sweat which is kind of embarrasing… im a male aswell which kind of sucks because i cannot conceal my problem… any ideas would be gratelly appreciated. and yes i know its a bit vague and im not ruling out multiple problems but like i say any advice/opinion would be great ![]()
thankyou very mush for the answers so far i really appreciate them. I will return to eating wheat/gluten though my main thought for stopping eating that was purely due to the dark under eyes. I have done alot of research and understand darkness can be many things. So far ive ruled hereditary/deep sockets out but right now i can live with the darkness its the other problems that bother me. as requested heres some more info.
i live in the ukbut have just moved to spain. the problem has been present for about 2 years and getting worse – i initially braught this to the attention of my doctor as an eye issu but after my own research found that i was allergic to certain perfumes and more importantly my girlfriends fake tan one smell makes my eyes curl. i also have an intollerence to bold washing powder so steer clear. I wear no products that could cause this and wash with perfume-less shampoo etc. the swet thing could be a very good point as to why i swet im still at a loss it seems to just
start. its similar to what ive read about hyper hydration or whatever its called. i will try the ice cube and milk tonight and try to keep my eyes clear of swet over the next few days. i was ment to go to an eye specialist before i came to spain but couldnt make the apointment but since ive realised perfume was the problem with my eyes its more a dermatolligist i need to see anyway but cannot afford or manage to make an appointment with one for atleast 6- 12 months so im a bit stuck at the moment. ill try to answer anymore questions asked aswell as any ive missed and i appologise for the randomness of my writing.
p.s i dont think this is a climate thing but i do get hot easily and to be honest this may aggrevate it. I try to get a good tan when i can and i know this is bad for me but i have fairly olive skin as it is and when i am tanned seem to suffer less or atleast visually… sometimes though the color just seems to drain out of my face and i go pale..
i realise these are alot of symptoms and hard to tell whats wrong with me and yes i should see a doc but cannot right now which sucks, I will when i am able but in the meantime anything that can treat each symptom as it occurs would be greatley appreciated so i can restore atleast some normallity after all its embarrasing. thank you very much you 3 for your responses so far they are greatly appreciated ![]()
ow one final thought when i get absolutely drunk as a skunk the night before my problems seem to be somewhat lessened in the morning – even the under eye darkness… or atleast till the hangover kicks in. i know this is strange and im not going to resrt to it as a lifestyle but figured i should mention it.,
ow ow last thing i promise – ive been asthmatic since birth but dontsuffer any effects anymore im strong like bull. thanks

Wheat and gluten does not have anything to do with this condition so don’t torture yourself by changing your diet. Gluten does not cause this kind of problem at all. Please read this for more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gluten_sensitivity
Wheat can aggravate eczema, but usually that more common in kids- not adults.
I don’t know what kind of allergy tests you’ve had, but getting skin testing by a board certified allergist may be a good idea because it will help identify things in the air you may be allergic to. I say this because the dark circles under your eyes may be caused by allergies, but can be caused by other things too- like hereditary. Also if you have crusting or scaling around the eyes- this can be caused by atopic conjunctivitis (a kind of allergy of the eyes found in people with eczema) or contact dermatitis (from face make up or products on your hands, like nail polish for example, that get transferred to your eyes). These are just two examples.
Bottom line- you will have to go to a doctor because they will actually need to see the skin to make the proper diagnosis. You have two options, go to an allergist or go to a dermatologist. You can start off with making an appointment with either one, but you may end up having to get an opinion from both.
Good luck.
It may be a sweat disorder that can be taken care of with medical attention. The sweat may be created under your eyes which has very sensitive skin. This sweat will create eczema which is caused by damp skin (sweat) and particularly bad during the winter months. My Wife has the same problem with eczema, she uses a special steriod cream that works incredibly. Consult a dermatologist or family doctor.
Tip: Make sure if washing your face to completely dry it afterwards preventing skin dampness.
why don’t u add more details like since how many days u have this problem, did u start shaving recently? what climatic conditions u live?
sometimes if u travel a lot, or stay on road in hot climate the skin becomes uneven.
1. goto skin specialist
2. rub ur face thourougly with milk
3. just before u go out, rub the skin with ice cube, this stops hot flashes and sweat
4.and last suggession don’t apply every skin product u find in stores.
